WWE RAW Recap: February 9, 2026 – Elimination Chamber Build Heats Up

Last night’s WWE RAW in Cleveland was full of action, surprises, and big moments as the road to Elimination Chamber continues. The Usos kicked things off by defending their World Tag Team Championships against Alpha Academy, and they showed exactly why they’re still at the top of the division. Both teams had some impressive back-and-forth action, with near falls and high spots that had the crowd on their feet, but in the end, the champions held on. On the undercard, Je’Von Evans teamed with Original El Grande Americano to take down Los Americanos in a quick, exciting match that helped keep the energy high early on.

The women’s triple-threat match was a highlight, with Rhea Ripley taking on Lyra Valkyria and Ivy Nile for a spot in the Elimination Chamber. Ripley looked dominant, hitting her big moves and controlling the pace, but Valkyria and Nile weren’t pushovers—they pushed her to the limit and made it a physical, hard-fought match. In the end, Ripley came out on top, punching her ticket to the Chamber and reminding everyone why she’s such a force in the women’s division.

The men’s qualifier was just as intense, with LA Knight, Penta El Zero Miedo, and Austin Theory all vying for a Chamber spot. Knight managed to come out on top, though a mysterious masked attacker played a role in the outcome, leaving Theory on the short end of the stick. The match had a mix of fast-paced moves and hard-hitting strikes, and each guy got a moment to shine, setting up even more intrigue heading into Elimination Chamber. Meanwhile, Natalya faced Maxxine Dupri in a singles match that ended in disqualification after Natalya’s post-match attack spilled outside the ring, leaving things messy and tension high for what’s next.

The biggest moment of the night, though, came with the surprise return of AJ Lee, who interrupted Becky Lynch and immediately reignited their rivalry. The two went back-and-forth on the mic, trading jabs and building tension, before Becky begrudgingly accepted a challenge to defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against AJ at Elimination Chamber in Chicago. With multiple championship opportunities and personal rivalries heating up, RAW delivered a mix of exciting in-ring action and storyline drama, setting the stage for a must-watch pay-per-view in just a few weeks.
