Temple Takes on Tulsa in a Saturday Afternoon Showdown



The Temple Owls (1-5) will take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (2-4) Saturday afternoon from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Kickoff is set for 2pm with the game being broadcasted on ESPN+. Temple is coming off a 29-20 loss to UConn, while Tulsa is coming off a 49-7 loss to Army.


Temple is coming off the loss to UConn after a fumble on the 1-yard line sealed the game for the Huskies. QB Forrest Brock was 18/31 for 136 yards. Terrez Worthy led the rushing game with 95 yards for the Owls. Elijah Dervail and Jaylen Lewis each added an interception for the Owls


Tulsa is led by a running back duo of Anthony Watkins and Bill Jackson who lead the team in rushing and both have rushed for over 200 yards this season. Temple will look to slow down QB Kirk Francis who has 6 TD's and over 1000 yards so far this season.
