Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite: “Mile High Madness” delivered a jam-packed episode from the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado, giving fans one of the more chaotic shows of the year so far. The night opened with a gritty opener as Jon Moxley brought his unrelenting offense to bear against El Clon, ultimately picking up the pinfall after driving his opponent through the commentary table and taking control late in the bout. That set a bruising tone for the night, reminding everyone that even mid-card singles can feel like a fight for survival on Dynamite.
The momentum continued with a surprising victory when Gabe Kidd stunned Orange Cassidy, scoring a pinfall in a gritty back-and-forth match that saw Kidd use every trick in the book to put away the usually resilient Cassidy. Following that, Kevin Knight kept his push alive with a solid win over Mansoor, further establishing himself as a contender with eyes on bigger opportunities down the road. In the women’s tag division, The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron) retained their AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles, finishing the match via disqualification after Lena Kross interfered — a finish that also involved an injury to Penelope Ford, which forced AEW to rethink the booking live.
In the mid-card, Brody King put on a strong showing, defeating Mark Davis in a hard-hitting matchup that showcased King’s power and Davis’ resilience. After the bout, King didn’t just celebrate — he called out Swerve Strickland, setting up a potential grudge match at the upcoming AEW Revolution pay-per-view. Meanwhile, backstage exchanges and promos hinted that Bandido and Andrade El Ídolo could soon collide, adding even more fire to AEW’s March slate.
The night’s wildest segment came when MJF and “Hangman” Adam Page squared off in the ring to determine the stipulation for their AEW World Championship match at Revolution. What began as a coin flip quickly turned into a mind game when Page exposed that MJF’s quarter had been rigged — heads on both sides — prompting AEW President Tony Khan to officially book the title fight as a Texas Death Match. If Page loses in that brutal format, he will reportedly never challenge for the AEW World Championship again, raising the stakes dramatically.
The main event lived up to its “Mile High Madness” name with an Anything Goes 10-man tag match that saw Jungle Jack Perry, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), and The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) take on FTR and The Demand. Brawling around the arena with tables, wild spots, and nonstop action, Perry and his team ultimately emerged victorious when Perry pinned Ricochet, delivering a show-ending payoff that sent the Denver crowd home buzzing. It was a physical, unpredictable main event that served as the perfect cap to Dynamite’s chaotic night.
